The University of Haifa is committed to promoting accessibility in all aspects of academic life for
people with disabilities. This includes improving physical accessibility, services, and providing
individual adjustments according to the needs of the student, in accordance with the Law on
Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities, 1998-1998, and the regulations pursuant thereto. We
are also committed to providing equal opportunities in cyberspace, and invest considerable
resources to make the university’s websites accessible to people with various disabilities and/or
who use assistive technologies for computer use.
Our website adheres to the WCAG 2.1 internet content accessibility guidelines to level AA,
according to the Israeli standard TI 5568. We provide a semantic structure for assistive
technologies and support for keyboard usage patterns. An external accessibility plugin powers
the website, which is subject to the terms of use of the manufacturer. An accessibility menu is
available on the website, which provides access to the website’s accessibility features.
Despite our efforts to improve accessibility, some pages may contain information and content

integrative information from various sources for the convenience of all users.
